Directions:
Mix the ingredients in a glass jar. I like to shake it for a minute until frothy. Normally drink this on an empty stomach, but some people get an irritated stomach for a short time afterward. Should that happen to you, try drinking an extra glass of water first. Recipes have varied from l teaspoon to l Tablespoon (=3 teaspoons).
The original recipes call for honey, because honey adds enzymes and vitamins that aide digestion. It is my personal choice not to eat honey. I prefer to sweeten foods with stevia.
I use organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized, raw apple cider vinegar that has been refrigerated and not open longer than 60 days. Apple cider vinegar lasts for years, but the best and most mild flavor comes right after opening the bottle. My first choice is Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. I’ve been using it for years and I trust the consistency.
