Alfalfa

Alfalfa – medicago sativa. This is one of nature’s richest food sources, containing nutrients such as protein, carotenoids, B vitamins, vitamins C, E and K, and the minerals calcium, iron and potassium. Alfalfa is often used for aiding convalescence, lowering cholesterol and allowing for efficient blood clotting.
